Taskasaurus ("we", "us") is a family chore-and-rewards app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the service needs to run, we don't sell data, and we never share your information for marketing.
If you add a mobile number and opt in, Taskasaurus sends two kinds of text messages: one-time phone verification codes and chore/reward notifications you explicitly enabled. Message frequency varies with your family's activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or turn off SMS in your account settings; reply HELP or email [email protected] for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third party.
We do not sell your data. We share only what's needed to provide you the service — for example, your phone number is used to deliver a text notification you asked for, and your email address to deliver a password reset you requested. The infrastructure providers that power Taskasaurus process your data solely on our instructions and only to run the service. Billing is the one named exception: payments are handled by Stripe, and your payment details go directly to them. Nothing is ever shared with anyone for advertising or marketing.
Kid accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian in their family. Kids sign in with a username; an email address is optional and a phone number is only added with the managing parent's involvement. Parents can edit or delete a kid's account at any time.
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it and material changes are announced in the app. Questions: [email protected]. See also our Terms of Service.
