Taskasaurus ("we", "us") is a family chore-and-rewards web app. By creating an account or using taskasaurus.com or app.taskasaurus.com you agree to these terms.
Taskasaurus lets a family create chores and rewards, track completions and points, and settle rewards. Available plans and current pricing are described on the pricing page.
Program description. Taskasaurus sends SMS for two purposes only: one-time phone verification codes, and chore/reward notifications that a family member has explicitly opted into.
Opt-in. You opt in by adding your mobile number in account settings and enabling SMS notifications; a one-time verification code confirms you control the number before any notification is sent. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of using Taskasaurus or of purchasing anything.
Frequency & rates. Message frequency varies with your family's activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out & help. Reply STOP to any Taskasaurus message to cancel SMS at any time, or disable SMS in account settings. Reply HELP for help, or contact [email protected].
Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and SMS consent records are never shared with third parties for marketing — see the Privacy Policy.
Your family's data belongs to your family. We store and process it only to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can request an export or deletion at any time via [email protected].
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taskasaurus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms; the date above changes with them and material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: [email protected].
